How can i impose a clause in the SPA , in order to protect myself as a buyer of a subsale unit against situation where someone may impersonate the seller and sell the property to me ?
*understood that it will be witnessed by the lawyer representing the owner . However, there is a possibility that the law firm maybe closed down due to other reasons and in case there is a law suit that follows after that , how can i protect myself from going to court case, paying penalty and losing the property
The seller refuses to sign SPA together and I'm a bit doubtful on the identity of the owner, property agent won't reveal until SPA . Vendor's name is not stated in the booking form as well and property agent asks me to sign . The house was not occupied for 9 years and only this year it was up for sale . it's still a bare unit .
Hope someone help to answer.
